Both Teams to Score and Win Accumulator Tips for Saturday 14/10/17

Following a two week absence, club football returns to our screens on Saturday with a full card of teams from all over Europe in action, including all four top tiers in England. Last Saturday, we were just one goal away from landing an outrageous 24/1 both teams to score and win double and we’re keen to go one better this weekend. The Acca Tips team have located what we believe to be fantastic value in our weekend both teams to score and win tips, picking two attack-minded sides from League One to do the business for our fantastic readers.

Here are our selections for this Saturday’s Both Teams to Score and Win double:

Back Bristol Rovers v Oxford – Both Teams to Score and Bristol Rovers win – 14/5 with 888sport

Our first pick takes us to the Memorial Stadium, where Bristol Rovers are glowing with confidence following their 6-0 win over Northampton last weekend. Rovers have enjoyed a fruitful start to the new season as they sit in a deceiving position of 12th place, just two points behind a play-off spot. Manager Darrell Clarke has excelled since taking over in 2014, taking the Gas from their lowest ebb in the National League to League One within just two seasons.

In playing attacking football, Rovers often leave gaps at the back and as a result, both teams to score has landed regularly in their league matches. Across 16 matches in all competitions, only six of the Pirates matches haven’t seen both teams score. Darrell Clarke’s side have conceded the second most goals in League One at the time of writing, also scoring the most in the process. Oxford have scored the joint-second most goals in the league, scoring a whopping 16 goals in seven road matches in all competitions.

Remarkably, all seven matches in all competitions at the Memorial Stadium have seen both teams score, while five of those games also saw Bristol Rovers win and both teams score. We see great value in backing a Rovers side with three wins from their last four matches here, especially given their incredible both teams to score stats in home matches. Take the 14/5 on offer for both teams to score and Bristol Rovers to win.

Back Wigan v Southend – Both Teams to Score and Wigan win – 5/2 with Ladbrokes

Our second pick takes us to the DW Stadium, where Wigan Athletic host Phil Brown’s Southend United. We’ve backed the Latics to win their previous two home encounters where they’ve got the job done and we’re confident of the treble being achieved on Saturday.

Cook’s new side have only dropped points in three of their 12 league matches so far, sitting just two points behind unbeaten Shrewsbury as it stands. In home comforts, Wigan have already won six of their seven matches in all competitions, defeating four bottom half sides from five. Southend currently sit in 15th place heading into this gameweek, possessing the sixth worst away record in League One. The Shrimpers had seen a decent upturn in form recently, defeating Fleetwood, Wimbledon and Blackpool in the space of a week before succumbing to a dire 4-1 loss at Doncaster last weekend.

With away losses to current top six sides Shrewsbury, Rotherham and Charlton, it appears unlikely that Southend are up to the task of taking any of the spoils from Wigan, who are probably better than all three of those teams. Four of Southend’s last five away matches have seen both teams score, while three of them were lost with both teams scoring. We’ve already backed Wigan to win confidently in our weekend acca tips, so it’s no surprise that we’re keen to back Wigan to win and both teams to score here at 5/2, with Ladbrokes cash out available just in case.
