Both Teams to Score Accumulator Tips for Saturday 14/10/17
Following a two week absence, club football returns to our screens on Saturday with a full card of teams from all over Europe in action, including all four top tiers in England. Last weekend, we were just one goal away from landing a phenomenal 15/4 both teams to score treble and we’re keen to put things right this time around. The Acca Tips team have located what we believe to be fantastic value in our weekend both teams to score tips, finding one cracking Championship selection and two strong League One picks.
Here are our selections for this Saturday’s Both Teams to Score treble:
Back Sunderland v QPR – Both Teams to Score – 7/10 with William Hill
Following the end to their 10 year Premier League stint, Sunderland have been exceptionally poor on return to the Championship. Ex-Preston boss Simon Grayson had high hopes for the Black Cats after taking over from David Moyes in the summer, but Sunderland are now looking more like relegation contenders than promotion hopefuls. Priced at just 10/3 for consecutive demotions, the Black Cats are in desperate need of results as they rest in 23rd place.
Saturday’s fixture against QPR has all of the makings of a game that could determine the remainder of the rest of each team’s campaigns. Ian Holloway’s side started brightly but no wins in five matches has seen them plummet to 16th place. One thing that has remained consistent for both of these sides, regardless of results, has been goals.
Sunderland would have seen both teams to score land seven of their 11 league matches so far, while visitors QPR have seen both teams score in eight of their 11 league matches. Black Cats fans have witnessed 14 goals in their last three league matches, while both teams have scored in three of their five home matches. The R’s have seen both sides score in four of their five away matches and we’re confident that these trends will continue at the Stadium of Light this weekend.
Take 7/10 on offer for both teams to score in your William Hill accumulator.
Back Bristol Rovers v Oxford – Both Teams to Score – 8/13 with Bet365
Our second pick takes us to the Memorial Stadium, where Bristol Rovers are brimming with confidence following a 6-0 win over Northampton last weekend. Rovers have enjoyed another fruitful start to the new season as they sit in a deceiving position of 12th place, just two points behind a play-off spot. Manager Darrell Clarke has excelled since taking over in 2014, taking the Gas from their lowest ebb in the National League to League One within two seasons.
In playing fast, attacking football, Rovers often leave gaps at the back and as a result, both teams to score has landed regularly in their league matches. Across 16 matches in all competitions so far, only six of the Pirates matches haven’t seen both teams score. Seven of those matches were played at home and every single one of those saw both teams score – while five of those matches saw both teams score and Bristol Rovers win.
Bristol Rovers have conceded the second most goals in League One heading into this weekend, scoring the most in the process. Oxford have scored the joint-second most goals in the league, scoring 16 goals in seven road matches in all competitions. Nine of their 15 contests in all competitions have seen both teams to score land and we can’t look past both teams scoring in this match.
Take the 8/13 for both teams to score here.
Back Walsall v Blackpool – Both Teams to Score – 4/6 with Ladbrokes
Our final pick takes us to the Midlands, where we are once again desperate to lump on our old favourites Walsall. Jon Whitney’s side have seen both teams to score land in 13 of their last 14 games in all competitions, with their 2-0 loss at league leaders Wigan being the anomaly. This Saturday, Blackpool are the visitors at the Bescot Stadium.
The Seasiders have seen both teams to score land in seven of their eight away matches in all competitions, while five of their last six games in all competitions have seen the same selection win. Walsall’s six home league matches have seen 20 goals scored, averaging out at over three goals per game.
Given the fact that both sides have done the job required in previous winning both teams to score bets, we’re extremely keen to get on board here. Back both teams to score at a very fair 4/6 in your Ladbrokes accumulator.
Our both teams to score treble of Sunderland v QPR, Bristol Rovers v Oxford and Walsall v Blackpool offers odds of 15/4 with 888sport at the time of writing. A £20 stake could earn you winnings of £95 if successful.
