Accumulator Tips For This Saturday – 20 August, 2022

Saturday sees the season really get going. After a few weeks of easing in, it’s time to start separating the wheat from the chaff as clubs see just how well the preseason preparation has been.

There’s plenty of action to enjoy across the Premier League, Football League and more, and as usual we’ll bring you all our top football betting picks, including the very best for your accumulator…

Our Accumulator Tips For 20 August, 2022

Tottenham Hotspur v Wolverhampton Wanderers

Spurs to win and over 2.5 goals at 1/1 with 888sport

Spurs host Wolves in the early kick off and we expect a decent game as Antonio Conte’s men look to continue their positive start to the campaign. Wolves have endured a poor start having lost to Leeds on the opening day and drawing 0-0 with Fulham last time out, and if results continue a few fans at Molineux may start to get worried.

The North London club are naturally heavy favourites for this one, and at 2/5 with 888sport we expect them to have few issues. However, we expect goals too and at 1/1 the Spurs win and over 2.5 goals gets our backing with the bookmaker.

Fulham v Brentford

Brentford to win at 19/10 with 888sport

Both Brentford and Fulham will be happy with their start and the Bees travel to Craven Cottage to take on their London foes. Fulham have earned two draws against good sides so far, and are favourites for the win in this game at 7/5 with 888sport.

Mitrovic has looked handy so far, but Brentford shocked Manchester United last time out and will be full of confidence having won one, drawn one so far. We’re backing the away side to pick up another positive result, which can be backed at a rather healthy looking 19/10.

AFC Bournemouth v Arsenal

Arsenal to win and Gabriel Jesus to score at 6/5 with 888sport

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have got off to a flying start so far this season, with two wins out of two, both of which have been done in a convincing fashion. They should have few problems with a Cherries side who suffered a 4-0 defeat to Manchester City last time out, and that similar brand of football should cause further problems for them at the Emirates.

Gabriel Jesus got his campaign tally underway last time out and he’s expected to bag plenty this season. Goals look on the cards for him again this weekend and at 6/5 with 888sport the Arsenal win and Jesus to score looks a bit of a no-brainer.

Everton v Nottingham Forest

Score Draw at 37/10 with 888sport

Everton have continued this season in the same vein of form as last and in Nottingham Forest they’ll consider the three points vital. That will be tricky though. The newly promoted side looked good against West Ham last time out and will certainly give the Toffees plenty to think about.

Frank Lampard’s men will have the home crowd behind them though and will be keen to get off to a good start. Conceding is an issue though and we’d back the score draw at 37/10 with 888sport in this one.
