Accumulator Tips for Saturday 28/10/17
Saturday’s footballing calendar is becoming more competitive by the week as Europe’s top tiers begin to balance out and competition for places increases. This Saturday begins with a fantastic crunch match between Manchester United and Tottenham at Old Trafford in the English Premier League, though our primary picks come from the 3 o’clock kick offs. Our Acca Tips team have located what we believe to be fantastic value in our football tips for today, finding two unbelievable Championship selections and one pick from League One.
Here are our Saturday Accumulator Tips for this coming weekend:
Back Fulham to beat Bolton – 9/20 with Betway
According to most bookmakers, Fulham are still in with a chance of domestic success despite a below-par start to their campaign. Their Craven Cottage fixture against fragile Bolton Wanderers offers the Cottagers a huge opportunity to live up to the billing and make a move closer to the current promotion contenders.
Bolton have seen a slight upturn in results of late with a first win of the season against Sheffield Wednesday and a hard-fought point vs QPR, but both of those results came at home to poor sides. Slavisa Jokanovic’s Fulham may be inconsistent at the moment, but the same applied at this point last campaign before they cranked up the heat and turned on the style, taking the league’s best form into their ultimately unsuccessful playoff campaign.
Fulham were notoriously high scorers last season and, although they haven’t been initially this term, they possess the attacking excellence to annihilate many of the current Championship bunch. Last season’s EFL Player of the Year Tom Cairney has returned from a long-term injury from the bench in their latest outings and the Scottish international is expected to start this weekend. Cairney often made the side click last season, scoring 12 crucial league goals himself and there’s a strong probability that he will help the likes of Rui Fonte, Stefan Johansen, Floyd Ayite and Aboubakar Kamara succeed.
Sceptics should consider Bolton’s horrific record of four losses from six on the road, while remembering just how superb Fulham have the potential to be under Slavisa Jokanovic. Back Fulham to win this match at 9/20 in your Betway accumulator.

Back Wolves to beat QPR – 21/20 with Betway
Our second selection takes us to Fulham’s city rivals Queen Park Rangers, who host current league leaders and promotion favourites Wolves at Loftus Road. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side took their league form up to five wins from six games in a potentially difficult 3-2 success over Preston last weekend and we see great value in them continuing their powerful run.
QPR were fortunate to take a point from the Macron Stadium on Saturday, against a Bolton side propping up the table. Ian Holloway’s side now have four draws and two losses in their last six matches, including bitterly disappointing draws to Sunderland, Barnsley and Burton who are placed 23rd, 22nd and 19th respectively.
Wolves currently maintain the strongest away form in the Championship with four wins from six matches, including their 4-0 destruction of Burton Albion last time they travelled. In 13 league matches, Wolves have only failed to win four times and three of those results were against top 12 teams. With QPR missing several first teamers and performances looking increasingly insipid, we see great appeal in backing the league’s most consistent and attacking side on the road.
Lump on an unbelievably generous price of 21/20 for Wolves to beat out-of-form QPR.
Back Rotherham to beat Gillingham – 4/7 with Betway
Our final pick takes us down a tier to League One, where Paul Warne’s Rotherham United have surprised plenty with an early push for promotion back to the Championship. Rotherham were sent packing embarrassingly from the second tier last season, collecting just 23 points in total and 21 points from 23 matches at the New York Stadium.
In just seven home matches this term, the Millers have already accumulated 18 points with six wins from seven, just one win away from equalling their former total tally. Opportunities realistically won’t come much easier than the visit of Gillingham this Saturday.
The Gills are sitting just one place and point above bottom spot in League One right now and possess the fourth worst away record for the season. Adrian Pennock took the boot as boss over a month ago and controversial owner Paul Scally has struggled to attract the right level of manager to the club as a replacement. With a real lack of quality in their ranks or a proven motivator at the helm, it’s ridiculously difficult to make any claim for Gillingham to pick up points, let alone dodge demotion.
It’s far too difficult to ignore the hosts in their sensational run of home form, especially with league top scorer Kieffer Moore firing on all cylinders. Back Rotherham to continue their hot streak against relegation strugglers Gillingham at 4/7. Should the Gills find a way to hold their nerve, Betway cash out will be available for this selection.
Our scintillating Saturday treble of Fulham, Wolves and Rotherham offers a best price of 37/10, just short of 4/1, with Betway at the time of writing. A £20 stake could earn you winnings of £94 if successful. New Betway customers will see their opening bet matched with free bets up to £30, so be certain to join via the banner or link below to get that superb offer.
