Tuesday 6th March see’s the return of Champions League football, with Liverpool hosting Porto following their 5-0 thrashing of the Portuguese side a fortnight ago. Elsewhere, Real Madrid travel to Paris Saint-Germain holding onto a strong 3-1 lead, while 22 of the 24 English Championship teams are in action.
We have studied all of the relevant and important statistics and figures available to locate the best available tips in our football tips for tonight.
Here are our selections for Tuesday 6th March’s Accumulator Tips:
Back Cardiff City to beat Barnsley – 6/11 with 888sport
Neil Warnock has inspired Cardiff City to the Championship’s strongest form over the last five matches, earning 13 points from an available 15.
Danish striker Kenneth Zohore has won six of those points with strikes against Bristol City and Ipswich, earning consecutive 1-0 wins. The Bluebirds have conceded just one goal in the aforementioned five games, carrying the league’s best defensive record on the whole and conceding a league low of just 10 in contests at the Cardiff City Stadium.
The visitors on Tuesday night are Barnsley who are sitting just two points above the relegation zone as it stands. Away from home, Barnsley have now lost five of their last 10. Their record on the whole at top half sides is pretty poor, clinging onto a tally of W1, D2, L5. Delving deeper into that, Barnsley have lost in all four of their visits to top six teams, most recently a 3-1 loss at Aston Villa in January.
Four players remain absent for the hosts, though those absentees didn’t affect their display against Bristol City. Oli McBurnie is in strong goalscoring form for the visitors, but Warnock’s men have scored three times as many goals in total compared to visiting teams. Cardiff have already had the better of the Tykes once this season with a 1-0 win at Oakwell back in November and they shouldn’t struggle here.
Back Cardiff to continue their home dominance at 6/11 with 888sport. This is an absolute gift of a price – don’t expect it to stay for long!
Back Fulham to beat Sheffield United – 10/11 with Betfair
Fulham have embarked on a remarkable hot streak from late 2017 to 2018, surging into 4th place and trailing 2nd place Cardiff by just five points.
The Cottagers picked up another sensational three points last weekend with a magnificent 2-1 win at Derby County, taking their form over 15 league games to W11, D3, L1. At Craven Cottage, Fulham have now won all of their last eight league matches, including back-to-back successes over league leaders Wolves and 3rd placed Aston Villa.
Just like last term, Fulham are now the joint highest scoring side in the division and the ammunition from Ryan Sessegnon, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Aboubakar Kamara, Stefan Johansen and co is lethal. In home matches, Fulham have also conceded just 13 goals from 17 games.
Similarly to Barnsley, Sheffield United have lost five of their last 10 away matches and while possessing a W1, D2, L5 record away at top half teams. Injury to Paul Coutts in November saw the Blades plummet down the Championship table with a record of W5, D4, L8 subsequently, including a thrilling 5-4 loss against Fulham at Bramall Lane.
Confidence is clearly through the roof in Slavisa Jokanovic’s camp at the minute and his team know they must continue to win to amp up the pressure on Villa and Cardiff above them.
Back Fulham at an incredibly generous price of 10/11 with Betfair. For me, this is the NAP of the evening and it’s only just tilting into odds against prices.
Our Tuesday double of Fulham and Cardiff currently offers odds of 21/10, just above 2/1, with Betfair at the time of writing. A £50 stake could net you an outstanding total of £155 if successful! Follow the link below to get involved.
