Premier League Match Result Odds & Predictions – 15 May, 2022

Week one provided a number of surprises in the Premier League, with dropped points for Liverpool, a horrific start for Manchester United and a dream start for the man most are looking forward to watching this season – Erling Haaland.

There’s scope for plenty more excitement across this weekend with a real Super Sunday as Chelsea host Spurs, while there are plenty of tasty encounters elsewhere too.

The bookmakers have pulled together their odds, while as usual we’re here to provide you with our match result Premier League betting tips…

Game of the Weekend: Brentford v Manchester United

Draw at 5/2 with 888sport

When it comes to the match result betting market, you can get some solid odds on the draw in this game, and that’s what we’re backing at 5/2 with 888sport.

The Bees earned a solid draw with Leicester last time out, while Erik ten Hag got his United career off to a shaky start with a woeful display against Brighton.

The Dutchman will be keen to see his side bounce back, but there’s an awful lot of work to do at Old Trafford and a point may well be all they can muster in this one, against a Brentford crowd who will be well up for it.

Ones To Watch

It’s a great weekend of football, with plenty of fixtures to enjoy outside of the top flight. Of course, many eyes will be on the Premier League and here are our top betting tips for the upcoming weekend…

Manchester City v AFC Bournemouth

Manchester City to win at 1/16 with 888sport

There’s not much value in this one, but if you’re after a banker this weekend you’ve found it at the Etihad. Bournemouth got their campaign off to a solid start beating Aston Villa last weekend but a trip up north to the Premier League champions is an entirely different proposition.

City looked good at the weekend. Very good. And we’ll see the likes of Haaland hungry for goals once again. Expect a dominant performance here and at 1/16 with 888sport, it’s an easy, albeit small, win.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Fulham

Draw at 9/4 with 888sport

Wolves suffered defeat at Elland Road last time out so will be keen to make life difficult for newly promoted Fulham this weekend.

They are favourites for the win, but what we saw from the Cottagers last weekend is that they’re ready for a fight and Mitrovic is looking a real handful as he looks to prove he can do it at the top level.

A score draw gets out bet in this one, while the draw as a stand-alone bet is priced at 9/4 with 888sport and gets our bet.

Nottingham Forest v West Ham United

West Ham to win at 17/20 with 888sport

The Hammers won’t have enjoyed a losing start to Manchester City in their opener as they look to build on a great season last term. They’re favourites to get the win against Nottingham Forest and we’d expect them to do so at 17/20 with 888sport.

It’s not been the easiest of starts for the East Midlands outfit, so fans won’t be too disheartened at this stage, but they’ll just be happy to see Premier League football back at the City Ground at this stage.
