Bundesliga Predictions 13/10/17

Finally the Bundesliga is back after a tedious international break. On Saturday evening we get a spectacular match at the Signal Iduna Park as Dortmund host RB Leipzig, and a very special manager returns to the Allianz Arena. All content here has been written by Martin Skuggevik Foss, however all predictions are researched and selected solely by our dedicated Accumulator Tips team. Here are our Bundesliga football accumulator predictions for this week:

VfB Stuttgart v FC Köln

Stuttgart are still without Mane, Zimmerman and Gentner, while Köln are now without their main striker Cordoba as well as important players in Hector and Risse. Good news, though, is that they’ve brought in Claudio Pizarro up top who should bring some much-needed quality. Another bit of relieving news for Peter Stöger’s men is that Timo Horn is fully fit again. Although Köln are undefeated in 11 of their last 12 competitive matches against Stuttgart, they are yet to win a football match in ten attempts so far.

Bayern Munich v SC Freiburg

Manuel Neuer is still out for Die Bayern as well as Bernat, and now also Ribery. Freiburg might be without Kempf, Abrashi and Sierro. Jupp Heynckes came out of retirement to take over Bayern after Carlo Ancelotti was sacked. The last season he managed at Bayern he won the famous treble (Bundesliga, German Cup, Champions League), and they are hoping he’ll put them back on track after a troublesome start to the season. They’re big favourites at home to Freiburg, who themselves have looked very poor going forward this season, and have won 19 of the last 22 matches against Freiburg. However, Freiburg have managed to score in all three of the last encounters.

FSV Mainz 05 v Hamburger SV

Hamburg will finally have Kostic back, who’s been sorely missed, but will have to do without Papadoupoulos who’s suspended. Van Drongelen is most likely out, and Müller is still a fair few months away from being ready to play. Mainz have Onisiwo, Bungert and Bussmann out. Hamburg are in dreadful form as they’ve not won in their last five matches, and not scored in any of them. Having Kostic back should help them in attack now with both Kostic and Wood playing together for the first time this season. Mainz hold a strong record at home to bottom six sides as they’ve won five of their last eight matches.

Hannover 96 v Eintracht Frankfurt

Hannover are without Felipe and most likely Hübner. They also have a few players out who’s not played thus far this season. Frankfurt have been terribly unlucky with injuries this season, and the latest injury is to one of their best players, Marco Fabian, who had just come back from injury. He had surgery on his back, and will probably be out for the rest of the year. Mascarell, Meier, da Costa, Haller, Falette, Fernandes, Medojevic and Stendera are also out. Hannover are yet to concede at home this season, and Frankfurt’s record away to promoted sides is particularly poor having lost seven of the last ten.

Hertha Berlin v Schalke 04

Hertha will finally have Selke available to play as he returns from injury to get his first minutes of actions since joining from Leipzig this summer. Langkamp is out injured, while Ibisevic is out with suspension. Schalke’s only injury worries are McKennie and Bentaleb. There’s been under 2.5 goals in the three last meetings between the sides. Hertha have scored first in 11 of their last 14 home matches, while Schalke have conceded first in ten of their last 14 away matches.

TSG Hoffenheim v FC Augsburg

Hoffenheim have a few injury worries as Demirbay, Bicakcic, Rupp and Gnabry are all doubtful. Augsburg are most likely without important Hinteregger as well as Khedira. Hoffenheim’s home form continue to impress as they haven’t lost since the 15/16 season. Hoffenheim have scored two or more goals in five of their last six Bundesliga matches. Augsburg have had a terrific start to the season, but have only won twice away to top six sides.

Borussia Dortmund v RB Leipzig

Leipzig have Werner fit for this match, and thus have no injuries. Dortmund, on the other hand, have a host of players out with injury. Piszczek, Rode, Schmelzer, Schürrle, Reus, Guerreiro and Durm are all out. Dortmund have an excellent home record, though, and will be confident to get the three points here. 37 matches without a loss is impeccable. They’ve won seven of their last ten home matches to top six sides too.

Bayer Leverkusen v Wolfsburg

Leverkusen are without Aranguiz and Jedvaj while Wolfsburg have Bruma, Ntep, Gomez, Brooks and Jung out. There’s been over 2.5 goals in the last eight meetings between the sides, and Leverkusen have scored at least three goals in six of their last seven meetings with Wolfsburg.

Werder Bremen v Borussia Mönchengladbach

Werder Bremen are only without Max Kruse for this match, while Gladbach are without Strobl, Drmic, Bobadilla and Doucouré. Pressure is beginning to mount on Nouri as his team is yet to win a match this season. Having Junuzovic back should help a lot, though. There’s been over 2.5 goals in 14 of the last 20 home matches for Werder Bremen.
